Yalobusha County Woman Going To Jail For DUI Resulting In Death

COFFEEVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Coffeeville woman is going to prison for 15 years after a deadlyDarlene Farmer Calhoun County crash.

Darlene Farmer pleaded guilty to a DUI resulting in death charge.

The accident happened on Highway 8 last April.

State troopers say Farmer attempted to pass another vehicle and collided head-on with a truck driven by 57-year-old Barry Hanks of Grenada.

He died at the scene.

Another driver received minor injuries in the crash.
