Work Center escapee nabbed

FULTON (WCBI) – A state inmate’s run to freedom was a brief one.   Mississippi Department of Corrections officials says 31 year old Walter Lee Lewis was captured Friday afternoon in Fulton.

Lewis walked away from a work detail at the Quitman County work center Thursday.    Lewis was in prison on convictions out of Lee County.
