Video: Woman Shot in Head at Oxford Apartment Complex

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI)- Bond is set at $150,000 for an Oxford man accused of shooting his girlfriend early Thursday morning.

D’marius Madkins is facing a domestic aggravated assault charge in connection with the shooting at the University Trails apartment complex.

Around 12:30 a.m., Oxford Police responded to a call about a woman that had been shot.

Officers found the victim sitting on the balcony with a gunshot wound to the head, but she was conscious and talking.

The victim was taken to a hospital in Memphis for treatment, and remains in critical condition.
