Woman faces three burglary charges; others could follow

TUPELO (WCBI) – An alert homeowner led to the arrest of a woman linked to multiple burglaries.

A Joyner area woman spotted Candace Cayson acting suspicious in the neighborhood and called the police.

Investigators built enough evidence to charge Cayson with three counts of Burglary of a Dwelling connected to break-ins in the Joyner area.

During the arrest, officers found items stolen from a March burglary. To top it off, Cayson was already out on bond on a grand jury indictment.

Detectives are currently following leads that could connect Cayson to several other unsolved burglaries.

She is being held without bond
