Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car

TUPELO (WCBI) – The investigation into a Monday night pedestrian death in Tupelo continues.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green says 44 year old Altheria Green of Tupelo died when she was hit while crossing North Gloster Street just North of the West Jackson Street intersection. The driver of the Chevy Tahoe which hit Wilson is not currently facing any charges in the accident
