Woman Charged After Allegedly Assaulting a Nurse

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County woman is indicted after allegedly biting an emergency room nurse.

Emma Jean Conner is charged with simple assault on medical personnel.

Back in April, Columbus Police arrested Conner for allegedly stabbing someone in the neck.

As of Monday afternoon, Conner had not been indicted in connection with the stabbing.

Prosecutors say Conner bit an emergency room nurse at Baptist Golden Triangle on the back.
