Woman Accused of Killing Her Mother Still in Critical Condition

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-Rebecca Jones, the Prentiss County woman accused of killing her mother Jane Jones continues to be in critical condition in an Alabama hospital. Jones went on trial on October first in the circuit court of Prentiss County, but before the trial could continue  Jones was rushed to the hospital overnight.  Leading to a mistrial and the jury being dismissed. Jones is ordered to be jailed as soon as she is able to leave the hospital. Jones was indicted in May of 2010 in the shooting death of her mother at her Prentiss County home. The family doctor does not know what is causing the illness but does not believe it is drug related.
