Woman Accused of Intimidating Witness Surrenders

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- A woman accused of repeatedly intimidating a witness, turned herself in Monday morning.

Last week Columbus Police Officers, were searching for 36-year-old Joanne Smith. She was wanted for intimidating a witness, in connection with a November 4th incident, at the Premier Lounge.

The night club is the same location as the officer-involved shooting, that left a 23-year-old man dead.

Investigators say the incident involving Smith, took place the same night.

Before her surrender, Smith was out on bond on an earlier charge of intimidating a witness.
