Winter Storm Blamed For Hundreds Of Accidents

Jackson, Miss. (WCBI) – This latest winter storm has kept state troopers busy responding to accidents.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety says highway patrolmen have investigated 432 accidents since Monday night. There have been two fatalities on state highways, one was Lowndes County.

Troopers continue to encourage people to stay off area roadways until the winter weather moves out and temperatures warm above freezing.
