Wet weekend, cooler temps next week
SUMMARY: Scattered showers and storms for Friday, but likely most of us stay dry. A trough of low pressure and a weak front pushing in over the weekend will cause rain chances to rapidly ramp up as we go into Saturday. Saturday evening looks quite wet, as well as most of the day on Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 80s for the weekend. Monday is looking even wetter with highs much cooler in the low to mid 80s. Things begin to dry out a bit for Tuesday, but still expect a stormy and wet day. More typical scattered storms look to return for Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
TONIGHT: Showers and storms quickly dissipate with the loss of daytime heating. Skies should be mostly clear, with some fog possible in areas that saw rain. Lows near 70 degrees.
FRIDAY: Higher rain chances for Friday, with scattered coverage of afternoon showers and storms. Hot and humid, highs in the low 90s with feels like temperatures near 100.
FRIDAY NIGHT: showers and storms end Friday night, leaving us mostly clear with lows in the low 70s.
SATURDAY: Scattered showers and storms will be around to start the day, but as the day goes on many of us will get in on widespread showers and storms. Highs will top out in the upper 80s, but temperatures will likely cool in the afternoon with lots of rain and storms around.
SUNDAY TO THURSDAY: Sunday looks quite wet with widespread showers and storms throughout the day. Temperatures will top out in the upper 80s under mostly cloudy skies. Monday looks to be the wettest day in the forecast, with nearly universal coverage of showers and storms throughout the day. Highs top out in the low 80s, with some upper 70s possible if it stays rainy/cloudy all day. Tuesday looks similar, but rain chances drop just a bit, starting a drying trend through the week. Still, Tuesday looks cooler and wet with highs in the low to mid 80s and widespread storms. Wednesday looks to bring a return of more typical scattered showers and storms. More of us will see some sunshine, and temps rebound a bit into the mid to upper 80s. Thursday looks even drier, with scattered afternoon showers and storms, partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 80s.
