West Point’s Crown Club serves up sweet treats to community
High School students from sophomores to seniors can be a part of the club.
WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – The Junior Auxiliary of West Point’s Crown Club was serving up sweet treats to the community.
Crown Club members set up shop at Mossy Oak Saturday afternoon for a Christmas bake sale.
This is West Point’s first time getting the Crown Club organization back together after an extended break.
High School students from sophomores to seniors can be a part of the club.
CC Vice President Ana Collins Coker said how the bake sale was benefiting the community and organization.
“It will go towards our funds to then like help out the community and to hopefully raise money to have more fundraisers like the bake sale,” Coker said.
CC President Lucy Cook said she was excited to be a part of the first class. And helping the community is the most fun when you are doing it with friends by your side.
“I could be with all my friends and do community service and helping out our community. Since this is the first year to have Crown Club in West Point I thought it was a good year for all of us to join and help out,” Cook said.
