West Point Shooting Suspect Named
West Point, MS, – (PRESS RELEASE) Thursday, January 30, 2014: A warrant for aggravated assault has been issued for a man believed to the shooter in an assault with a deadly weapon that occurred on January 22nd. The shooting left one man suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck and a vehicle riddled with bullet holes.
In connection with this crime, police are searching for 17 yr. old Deylon Antonio Harris. His last known address was 614 Griffin Street, West Point. Mr. Harris, although under the age of 18 was charged in a similar attack in July 2013 at the same apartment complex. He is currently under indictment by the Grand Jury for that attack that left one man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
This individual is to be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding the location of Mr. Harris is asked to call the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at (800) 530-7151. A reward of up to $1,000 is available to information leading to his arrest.
