West Point Police Search For Shooting Suspect
WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Shots rang out at a Texaco gas station over the weekend. Now authorities need help finding a suspect.
There are hopes that surveillance video can help play a part in identifying the suspect.
Sunday morning shots were reported at the Texaco Gas Mart in West Point on the corner of Hwy 45 Alternate and Main Street.
It appears an altercation began in the parking lot.
One man was shot in his arm and another man was shot in the lower leg.
Authorities are not sure if the victims were intended targets.
Names of the victims are not being released. None of the injuries are life threatening.
The West Point Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with any information that leads to an arrest.
