West Point Man Accused of Kidnapping and Assault

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)- Bond is set at $200,000 dollars for a West Point man accused of assaulting and kidnapping his estranged wife. 36-year-old David Coggins of West Point was taken into custody Tuesday night (9-18) by the Clay County Sheriff’s Department after his wife claimed he choked her and pulled a gun.  Investigators say they still are sorting out details of what happened and will present the case to the grand jury when it meets early next month.
