WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)–The old McClure Furniture store in West Point is a step closer to being transformed into venue for cultural arts events and community gatherings.
West Point Selectmen approved a bond issue Tuesday night for the building to become a cultural arts center.
For years, the McClure family of Columbus ran a successful furniture store there.
The city of West Point owns it now and leaders say it’s the perfect spot for their long-awaited Arts Center.
