West Point High School band director, Rickey Brown, has passed away

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Students and staff in the West Point Consolidated School District are mourning the loss of a beloved teacher.

According to the school district’s Facebook page, the high school band director, Rickey Brown passed away suddenly.

He is described as a mentor and friend to many.

Brown had served as band director at West Point High for more than 13 years.
