West Alabama Chase Ends In Lowndes County

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A west Alabama pursuit goes into Lowndes County and ends near Steens.

Glen Minor, 37, of Vernon is charged with felony eluding law enforcement in Lowndes County.

Millport Police Chief Charles White says he caught Minor speeding.

As White approached Minor’s car, the Toyota Corolla took off.

Lowndes County investigators say the chase went into Steens and several down several county roads before ending on Highway 12.

A female passenger was not charged.

White says Minor will be charged with two counts of speeding, attempting to elude, reckless driving and reckless endangerment in Alabama.
