Webster County Man Faces Drug Charges
WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Webster County man is facing a host of charges after he sped away from deputies.
Investigators say the pursuit happened on North Sapa Road when Sheriff Tim Mitchell says Darren Patterson tried to avoid a safety check point.
Deputies chased him for a couple of miles.
The 26 year-old Eupora man was then arrested.
Deputies found crack cocaine, marijuana and pills.
Patterson is being held on a hold from the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Webster deputies charged him with possession of crack cocaine and a controlled substance, failure to yield to law enforcement and reckless driving.
