Webster County escapee’s run comes to an end
WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Anthony Logan’s bid for freedom turned out to be short-lived.
Logan escaped from the Webster County Jail on Sunday.
He was awaiting transport to state prison to serve a five year sentence on a burglary conviction.
According to the Webster County Sheriff’s Office Logan was recaptured around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Hebron Road in Choctaw County by deputies from Choctaw County and Webster County, and Mississippi Department of Corrections officers.
Logan was taken without incident.
He was taken to a county jail, until he can be processed and transported to an MDOC facility.
