Wanted Suspect Captured After Lynn Circle Area Chase

TUPELO, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE)- On Monday, September 4, 2017 at approximately 09:30 am Tupelo Police Patrol Officers were called to the area of 1500 McCullough Boulevard (Motel 6) for a tip regarding a wanted person.

Suspect, Travis Spradling, was reported to be in the area and was wanted by both the Mississippi Department of Corrections and Itawamba County on a felony taking of a motor vehicle warrant.

As officers searched the Motel 6, several 911 calls were received stating that a white male matching Spradling’s description was running through yards in the Lynn Circle area directly north of Motel 6.

Officers responded to the area and located the suspect as he was being chased out of a Lynn Circle home by the residents.

Spradling had barged into the home seeking a ride. Spradling was captured and arrested for the MDOC and Itawamba County warrant as well as Tupelo charges of disorderly conduct.
