Video: Young West Point Golfer Comes Home After Win at Augusta

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – She may not have come home with a green jacket, but Emerson Blair returned from Augusta to a celebration fit for a champion.

Emerson Blair returned to school at Oak Hill Academy on Wednesday after winning the USGA’s Drive, Chip and Putt competition this past weekend.

She competed in the seven to nine year-old age group at Augusta National Golf Course, home of the Masters Golf Tournament.

Classmates were there to celebrate the nine year-old West Point girl’s huge win.

She encourages other young golfers to sign up for the competition.
