VIDEO: Young Bulldogs Confidence High Heading Into Bowl Game

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — The Mississippi State Bulldogs will take Tropicana Field in Tampa for the Saint Petersburg Bowl in on December 26th.

The Bulldogs will be taking on a red-hot Miami of Ohio team that rides a six game win-streak to become bowl eligible.

While Mississippi State will take on a team that’s confident, the young guns in the Bulldogs’ locker room are as confident as they’ve been all season.

“…the South Carolina game, I thought I was just going to take off, but I was there to make the play, I just wouldn’t make them”, sophomore defensive back Jamal Peters said, “But after the Ole miss game, I’m too confident. I’m comfortable about everything now.”

“It just comes with us being here at the program. I mean, just finding yourself”, sophomore running back Aeris Williams said.

“Finding yourself going from high school to college, I mean, when you find yourself, there’s no looking back.”
