Video: Winter Jam 2015 Packs Bancorpsouth Arena

TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – It was a packed house at the Bancorpsouth Arena for Winter Jam 2015.   The annual contemporary Christian music tour is one of the most popular events at the arena.

Ten bands were featured throughout the evening, along with a message from the tour pastor.  Fans and musicians say Winter Jam is unique.

“There is a spirit here folks, you all need to come because there is a spirit here, you can feel the Lord here, these are talented musicians, reaching out, through music to win people to Christ,” said Brienda Mainers, of Tennessee.

“We knew since we were very young that we are on earth to put the Gospel message in music and take it out to the world so being able to have people say ‘I like your music and the message behind it, it means the world to us,” said Adam Klutinoty, lead singer for the band, “About A Mile.”

Winter Jam was originally scheduled to play Tupelo last month, but the date was rescheduled because of the snowstorm.  The concert attracts fans from Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.
