Video: Winona Sets Slightly Higher Tax Rate

WINONA, Miss. (WCBI) -Winona property owners will see slightly higher property tax bills this fall.

It’s the first property tax increase in four years.

The increase will provide pay raises for some workers and offset higher expenses.

The tax hike means about $30 on a $100,000 home.

Some city workers will get a two percent pay raise, while others will get a three percent performance increase.
