Video: Wild New Year’s Eve Ride in West Point

West Point, MS (WCBI) — A wild New Year’s Eve ride ended with the driver destroying two cars, and doing extensive damage to a West Point home. According to a witness, around eleven thirty-five last night, a Mustang reportedly driving at a high rate of speed ran off the road on Division Street, hit a utility pole, crashed into a house, bounced off of the house, struck a car in the driveway,almost totaling it, and again ran into the house, causing extensive damage to the home, and, according to one witness, barely missing 2 sleeping residents:

“Yes, it was a little girl, the baby in the bed, and the 21 year old, she was on the couch when the car came in the living room.”

There was no word on the condition of the driver, or if any charges will be filed. The West Point Police Department is continuing its investigation into the wreck.
