Video: West Point Makes It Back-To-Back 5A Football Titles

WATCH: Riding a 27-game win streak, the West Point Green Wave notch win number twenty eight to take home the 5A state championship, defeating Hattiesburg, 41-15.

The back-to-back state champions from West Point were led by Mississippi State-commit Marcus Murphy, who rushed for 226 yards and four touchdowns, and Chris Calvert, who gained 103 yards on the ground with two touchdowns.

This is the ninth state championship in West Point football program history.
