VIDEO: Water Valley Mayor Submits Resignation

WATER VALLEY, Miss. (WCBI)- The mayor of Water Valley is stepping down.

Mayor Larry Hart submitted a letter announcing his retirement at last night’s board of alderman meeting.

Hart was just re-elected back in May.

There is no word yet on who will take his place or when he will leave his position.

Hart has been Mayor of Water Valley for decades.
