COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- A special group of hunters are in the woods this weekend.

Golden Triangle Outdoors in Columbus along with Passionate Pursuits Ministries is hosting its annual Veterans hunt.

The two groups focus on providing outdoor recreational and hunting opportunities.

This weekend veterans , many of them wounded warriors, are the guests who will be going after game.

The weekend wraps up Sunday with a Cowboy Church service before the guests return home.
