Video: Unique Gifts, Variety Of Vendors At ‘Celebration Village’
TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – It is the first full day of “Celebration Village” and things are hopping at the booth for “Katie’s Cookies and Candies.”
“It’s amazing to me to see my customers coming back as repeats,” said Katie Jackson.
This is the fourth year she has set up shop at Celebration Village, selling an assortment of sweet treats. This year they have a new item, something called “Peanut Butter Madness Cookies.”
There is even a gluten free choclate chip cookie this year.
“It’s made with almond flour, it’s very good, soft, chewy, really nice,” Jackson said.
On the other side of the building, “Annie Decor” and “June Arbor Designs” share a booth for their first showing at Celebration Village.
“I do mostly furniture, and so I have a bunch of unique pieces I found at estate sales and things like that, that I’ve redone and hopefully modernized it for people’s liking,” said Anne Cockrell, of Annie Decor.
“I do custom stationery, journals, coffee mugs, art prints, little gifts for your home,” said Mysie Wurster, of June Arbor Designs.
On the other side of the aisle, newcomers “L’Bri” are offering samples of their all natural skin care line, featuring the healing properties of aloe.
Shirley Welch says Celebration Village allows her to expand her potential customer base, while supporting the mission of Sanctuary Hospice House.
“I love the fact they have Jesus in their information, this makes me happy we are supporting a Christian based facility,” Welch said.
Those who visit Celebration Village are encouraged to bring a few extra dollars for snacks, all of that shopping and browsing makes you hungry, and you could get tired, so pace yourself.
Celebration Village runs all day Friday and Saturday. For more information, go to www.sanctuaryhospicehouse.com
