Video: Tupelo’s Fairpark Pulls up Sleeves for ‘Pigskins in the Park’ Event

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — This Saturday, a giant jumbotron will broadcast both Mississippi State University and Ole Miss games live at Fairpark. The event, Pigskins in the Park, will be presented by C Spire.

Wednesday, The C Spire store in west Tupelo hosted the Head to Head statewide sports talk radio show.

Hosts Matt Wyatt and Richard Cross discussed each team and its prospects going into the weekend games.

MSU is slated to play the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday. That same evening, Ole Miss will be on the road at Louisiana State University.

Along with the jumbotron, Pigskins in the Park will feature a Show Your Colors tailgate contest for the most elaborate tent decorations with costumes for Ole Miss and MSU fans.
