Video: Tupelo Students Raise Money and get a Little Exercise in the Process

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -Hundreds of students at a Tupelo elementary school raised money for the PTA, by exercising.

Carver Elementary held its annual “Turkey Trot” run and walk. Students ran, or walked for 20 minute stretches.

They got pledges from parents, friends and relatives for each lap they made around the parking lot and the money goes back into the school.

Students enjoyed a healthy snack of bananas and water, once they completed their 20 minutes of exercise.
