Video: Tupelo Airport Authority may Take up Seaport Contract

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -The days of Seaport Airlines landing in Tupelo may be coming to an end.

The Tupelo Airport Authority has scheduled a Tuesday vote on whether to end its contract with Seaport.

The airline has been plagued with flight cancellations and delays since its debut in October of last year.

Tupelo Airport officials say the reliability of the service has hampered efforts to build a customer base.

Seaport says a pilot shortage is to blame for the spotty record but promised to add pilots to improve service.
