Video: Tupelo Adds Robins Field Marker to City’s Heritage Trail

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Friday’s  rainy weather didn’t keep the Tupelo Convention and Vistor’s Bureau from unveiling its latest historical marker.

Residents gathered at Robins Field, on North Madison Street this afternoon.

Following a brief ceremony, the marker was added to the Civil Rights Heritage Trail.

Its part of the CVB’s Heritage Trails Enrichment program, designed to enrich, restore and preserve Lee County and Tupelo’s history.
