CHICAGO (WCBI) — On a night of drama, one last bombshell was dropped by the man himself.
Former Ole Miss offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil was taken 13th overall by the Miami Dolphins in the 2016 NFL Draft but it was his comments after he was drafted that caused a stir around the national media.
When asked by a reporter, “Was there an exchange between you and your coach, for money?”
Tunsil responds, “I would say, yeah.”
Before being drafted, Tunsil’s social media accounts were compromised as a video of him smoking out of a bong with a gas mask was posted along with alleged screen shots of his text messages asking for money to pay bills.
Tunsil was one of three Ole Miss Rebels drafted in the first round of Thursday night’s NFL Draft, as Laquon Treadwell was taken 23rd by the Vikings and Robert Nkemdiche taken 29th by the Cardinals.
