MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) –
From the time the call came in, to the time Mississippi State issued an all clear, it was less than an hour – 44 minutes to be exact.
Let’s take a look at the time line:
AT 10:10 am University police receive a call about a man on State’s campus, threatening harm to himself and others.
MSU students, faculty, and families receive a Maroon Alert at 10:16 a.m. Warning of an active shooter and requesting that everyone on campus shelter in place.
MSU Campus Police apprehend a suspect at 10:26 a.m.
An all clear is issued by MSU Police and administrators via Maroon Alert at 10:54 a.m.
