Video: Three Units Damaged in Tupelo Apartment Fire
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) –Tupelo fire investigators are trying to pinpoint the cause of a Friday morning fire which damaged a Tupelo apartment building.
The fire broke out just before10:00A.M. at an Ida Street complex.
Chief Thomas Walker says firemen found one apartment burning when they arrived. Crews contained that blaze but flames made it into the attic space of the next door apartment causing damage to it.
A third unit in the building suffered smoke and water damage. Walker adds the resident in the heavily damaged apartment was not home when the fire started. No injuries were reported.
