Video: The Trotter Hosts Community Wide Prayer Breakfast

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-Columbus residents from all walks of life joined together Saturday morning at the Trotter Convention Center for a prayer breakfast.

The event kicked off with interpretive dance followed by praise and worship. Participants has the chance to hear a sermon on the topic of prayer. One organizer says prayer is important for the community and the nation.

“We got a lot of things going on in our nation and we certainly need to pray so that’s why we are putting the emphasis on prayer because prayer is vital to a move of God,” says Earnestine Hendricks.

Participants enjoyed a tasty breakfast following the sermon.
