Video: Testimony Underway in Lowndes County Murder Trial

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County Circuit Court is busy this week as lawyers and prosecutors spent Tuesday picking a jury for one murder trial and will start another Wednesday.

Testimony began this afternoon in the case against 30-year-old Chaddy Brooks. She is charged with the November 2013 stabbing death of 37-year-old Daniel Gore at Gore’s Cypress Park Apartment. Investigators say it was a domestic dispute that turned violent. Brooks claims self defense.
