Video: Tennessee Williams Continues to Inspire Actors

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -The work of Tennessee Williams continues to inspire today’s actors.

The Mississippi University for Women hosted an acting workshop using the Columbus-born playwright’s work to help performers hone their stage skills.

MUW Artist-in-residence David Roby put the aspiring actors through their dramatic paces using monologues and scenes from several of Tennessee Williams’ works.

Roby’s original work “Unseen Character”, based on characters from Williams’ plays debuted Friday night at the Rent Auditorium on The W campus.
