Video: Teachers Honored During Appreciation Week

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) -Friday was the final day of Teacher Appreciation Week in Aberdeen, and Belle Elementary school took the time out to show their teachers how much they are appreciated.

The school held a red carpet luncheon to honor its staff for all of their hard work and dedication to the students.

Teachers walked and posed for pictures on the red carpet.

Which was followed by a warm delicious meal catered just for them.

“It is very important for our teachers to be recognized because they work so hard and get so little credit for all of the hard work they do, and all of the dedication and time they put into our children, so they need this boost to boost their morale, and let them feel special ad we’re just very proud of them and all of the hard work they’ve done.”

The Parent Teacher Organization was in charged of putting on the event.
