JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) — The Supreme Court denies Chris McDaniel’s request for a rehearing to access poll books without voters’ personal information blacked out.
Earlier this month, McDaniel’s request for a hearing was denied by a 3-judge panel.
McDaniel’s campaign has been gathering poll book information to decide if it will challenge the results of the June 24 republican runoff loss to incumbent U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.)
Laywers for McDaniel believe seeing the birth dates of voters will help identify those with similar names, and the cost of redacting the records is expensive.
No legal challenge has been filed contesting the race.
