Video: Summer Reading Program Wraps up in Columbus with 2 Special Guests
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -The Summer Reading Program wrapped up Thursday at the Columbus Lowndes Public Library.
All summer long, pre-school through elementary aged children have come to the library on Thursday for stories, songs, and show and tell with Mother Goose.
For the finale Mother Goose had a special guest, WCBI’s own Aundrea Self. She read to the kids and led the Reading Parade.
Children who kept a record of the books they’ve read this summer received certificates.
