TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Four seniors at Tupelo High School wanted to do a very special senior project.
They sponsored a Busting Bullies Rally at Fair Park, featuring experts who gave advice to students and parents about the problem of bullying in high school.
“This is an anti-bullying rally,” said senior Tianna Robinson. “We wanted other communities and other schools to come out and learn about bullying, learn about what we have to say because this is a very big problem today and there is alot of stuff going on that parents don’t know about, so we want to inform them.”
Robinson and her three classmates wanted to stress that not all of the bullying is done at school.
Because of online services like Twitter and Facebook, cyber bullying takes place even after the student has gone home.
