COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The owners of The Pony will soon drop a federal lawsuit against Lowndes County.
The adult entertainment bar filed suit against the county after supervisors passed an ordinance regulating night clubs with an exception to restaurants.
An exception was requested to operate the club’s restaurant after hours but was denied by county leaders.
The strip club’s attorney, Jeff Hosford, tells WCBI a lawsuit has been filed in Lowndes County Circuit Court.
Hosford wants a judge to decide if the county denied approval to something in the county’s statue.
The order to drop the federal lawsuit has been filed.
