Video: Storied Tupelo Car Dealership Changing Hands

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – One of the area’s oldest car dealerships is sold to one of the region’s largest sales groups. Carlock Automotive Group bought Tupelo Auto Sales. It will be renamed Carlock Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.

Plans are to move the business to a new facility next to Carlock Toyota north of Barnes Crossing. Carlock owns dealerships in Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas.

The group plans to expand the new dealership’s hours and service department.
