Video: State Supreme Court Won’t Take up Lowndes County Molestation Case

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) – The State Supreme Court will not take up the case of a former Lowndes County Youth minister.

Benjamin Shelton is serving a 12 year prison term for molesting a church member during a retreat.

Last year the state court of appeals denied Shelton’s request for a rehearing. Today the State Supreme Court said it would not take up an appeal of the lower court ruling.
