Video: Speech Pathology and Nursing Plans Move Forward at MUW

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -At Mississippi University for Women, there will be just enough money to renovate the old Demonstration School.

Lawmakers approved $7.1 million for the project.

The W plans to use the building to expand the Nursing and Speech Language Pathology program.

The university says this renovation is its most pressing need, because student enrollment continues to grow.

Next year MUW plans to ask for funds to build a new Culinary Arts building…funds for that proposal were scrapped this year.
