Video: Southside Townsend Blues Festival in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Southside Townsend Park Blues Festival continued today in Columbus.

The 2-day event began yesterday and despite the chance of rain, several groups performed gospel and blues tunes tonight. Some of the performers included the Standing Gospel Singers, the New Beginning Church Praise Team and Blues Singer Theodus Ealey. This festival offered a fun-filled Independence Day celebration with live music and family-oriented activities for the children. The event will wrap up around 11 o’clock tonight.
