Video: SNAP Fitness Tupelo Collects Athletic Wear For Salvation Army

TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – A Tupelo fitness center is helping the Salvation Army as part of a Christmas campaign.
The SNAP Fitness center in Tupelo is in the middle of what it calls its “Give And Serve” initiative.
Members can bring new, or gently used athletic gear, such as shoes, clothes and other items and drop them off.
Or, new members have their enrollment fees waived if they donate something for the Salvation Army.
“Something that you would definitely want to wear, you don’t want to give away something you wouldn’t want to wear, or stuff like that, so make sure it’s nice , presentable, something you may have bought, put in the closet, haven’t worn it, you know,” said Joseph Guyton, a personal trainer at SNAP in Tupelo.
Returning member will have their access card fee waived. Deadline to turn in items is Christmas Eve.
