Video: Shots Ring Out in Friendly City

COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI) Shots ring out in the Friendly City on Wednesday night. It remains to be seen if anybody was hit. (at the time of this posting)

The trouble started around 7:45 p.m, near the intersection 12th Avenue and Fourth Street South. At least 6 people heard the shots and dialed 911. Apparently, a fight broke out in front of a convenience store, located a block from Friendship Cemetery.

Witnesses say they clearly heard 4 shots. Initially, investigators thought somebody had been hit, but a victim never turned up. No word yet on any arrests either.
